Film Screen Grabs

We have developed two different shots together in one shot making it a split screen. This shows two main characters as the antagonists that will be followed throughout the film.

This is a shot of Mike, with the big wheel in the background. This is a reappearance from the start as it was used as an establishing shot. At this point its got Mike looking around for Kyle.

This shot is a close up on Mike. In this shot we used him close up with the urban environment in the background. On the phone to Jahmel it develops into them finding Kyle. The close up shows the emotion on his face as he recieves the call.

We used an extreme close up on Kyle. This portrays his emotion as a depressed victim. By doing this it is clear that he is the protagonist.

This shot we used for Kyle writing his note, it shows him in his depressed state expressing his emotion through his use of facial expressions. This shot works effectively as you can clearly see he is affected by the bullying from the other characters.

An extreme close up on Kyles face while writing the note further shows his emotion. The look on his face makes it clear to the audience that he is being affected.

We used this arial shot with Kyle on top of the Arndale to show the height of the shot This adds a range to the use of shots.

The close up on Jahmel shows his power as an antagonist character. It focuses on him on the bus.
